no literally…did not want my loyal viewers to think i was not doing my blog…just have been packed the last few days. it seems the market has settled for the time being, if we can call it that, despite the writedowns at ubs some are saying “the crisis looks to have been averted.” in other news, ben answered a few questions regarding his role in bear, i am watching to see how this legislative posturing shakes out. the fed doesnt answer to anyone, never has and never will.
the fault lines in the economy are being ignored as we sit in the calm of the storm (you know what i mean, be quiet). what i wonder is how baked in the further writedowns are into today’s prices. there is no way that these companies can write off hundreds of billions of dollars and it not be reflected. but then again, it is all a setup anyway isnt it?
