two cards: interesting pieces (pt 1 & pt 2) from michael lewis via nytimes, quick reads. oh yeah & just watched casino royale, probably one of the only bond movies i would consider adding to the library. enjoyed it, had seen qos at the theater, sparked my curiosity.

gearing up for tax season…are you ready? the irs is featuring one of their older posts on keeping good records on their site, with links to p552 & p583. takeaways of course are to keep records because you never know when you may need them. how so? well, during the year perhaps you can keep some file folders or other organizer. or even better, sign up for electronic statements and reduce the clutter. in the next month or so, as you receive your 1098 & 1099s, keep them in one place. i would encourage everyone to use this time to look over your spending in 2008 with your goals for 2009 and see what adjustments you can make. a refund provides a great start to tackling debt or making moves.

but i digress. can someone please explain how the colts managed to blow it while i left midway through the fourth quarter to head back home? or how shaquille o’neal is still doing it?

take care today.
